Consultation
Since its inception in 2006, Spotify has become a leader in streaming on-demand media. The digital music service provides more than 248 million global users with access to millions of songs.
Aiming to expand its global presence into Thailand and neighboring countries, Spotify partnered with Andovar for user interface localization. In addition to translating and localizing the Spotify UI into Thai, we also provided translations into a variety of other Asian languages, translated marketing materials, and tested everything to verify the quality of our work.
To assist Spotify’s Thailand launch, we provided UI localization, translation, editing, terminology management and testing.
We translated materials into six languages: Thai, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Indonesian, Malay and Japanese.
Over the course of several years, Andovar localized multiple asset types covering hundreds of thousands of words of digital content.
To meet Spotify’s localization needs, we integrated our workflow with Spotify's TMS partner, Smartling, enabling hyper-efficient processes to be maintained.
